What is video muter suitable for?
Video muting removes the audio track from a local video and creates an MP4 with picture only. It is useful for removing ambient sound, background music, or private speech.
The tool processes files with ffmpeg.wasm in a browser Worker, so files are not uploaded. Output is re-encoded as MP4 for compatibility.
Supported formats: MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI; single file limit: 500MB.
